What do you love about this club/USAFL? “Being part of this [The Cats] feels like being part of a second family. It’s more than just a team, it’s a community that offers a sense of belonging and an escape from everyday life. When I’m with the club, I feel like I’m stepping into our own little world, and I absolutely love that.

When I first came to the USA, I had no idea that the USAFL even existed—I didn’t think anyone here knew about Aussie Rules. So when I discovered the league and found this club, it honestly felt like I’d found a little piece of home. Being part of this team has given me so much more than just the chance to keep playing the sport I’ve loved since I was five or six years old. It’s incredible to be able to share the game with new people, grow awareness for it here, and still feel so connected to where I came from. That’s what makes this so special to me.”
